Project SEMILLA’s Dr. Carolina Ulloa was granted a highly sought after scholarship from the International Section of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) to attend their annual Scientific Assembly in Chicago in October 2014. She was chosen from an applicant pool of Emergency Physicians throughout the world for her dedication to the improvement of Emergency care in her home country of Nicaragua. Dr. Ulloa plans to use the information and contacts from the ACEP Scientific Assembly to help strengthen the Nicaraguan Association of Emergency Physicians.
